R. Owens built this very detailed Kanasket, Washington Northern Pacific water tank. 

He entered this model in the Big Train Show in Ontario, California and won 1st place for Scratch-Built Structure and 2nd for Best Structure in Show. 

I think the prizes were well deserved!
