This D&RG water tank was built by G.Getman of South Dakota.  This tank looks short and squat due to the 50,000 gallon tank and the shorter legs due to the smaller steam engines on this line.  It is actually one of our tallest tanks done to 1:20.3 scale.  He has built this one with a single spout, as many of them were.  Instructions with the plans show how to adapt to double spout as is seen in Chama, as well as variations for several other known  D&RG tanks of very similar construction.
